Let South Mountain Park be your home base. Come out and enjoy all the festivities Kentville has to offer, and then enjoy all we have to offer. June 14 Weekend – Father’s Day – Come celebrate dad with us here at the campground. Make sure to bring your digital camera and your creativity to participate in our new activity, the photo scavenger hunt. Families will be sent on all kinds of wacky and hilarious photo missions. June 28 Weekend – Canada Day - One of our most requested weekends of the year. Come out and join all the activities, events, fun, and games. We will have a live band “Vintage” back by popular demand, fireworks, bike and pet parade (bring your decorations to be the most Canadian bike in the convoy), and an adult dance. Join DJ Donald on deck at the children’s pool party. Music, games, and good times. July 5 – Amazing Race – Come out and sign up for the annual South Mountain Park version of the popular hit race. You will be sent on an amazing journey all around the world (campground), compete in daring and thought invoking trivia and challenges. July 12 weekend – Carnival – Back by extremely popular demand … CARNIVAL!! Bring the whole family down to play our plethora of games. Win prizes, candy and more. Another of our most popular weekends, do not miss this one. July 19 weekend - Sports Day - Like sports? Come out for a weekend of sports filled family fun. Soccer, volleyball, tennis, boating, bikes, basketball, and ball hockey should be enough to satisfy the sports fanatic in everyone. July 26 –Timdini- Be amazed and astounded by the fabulous magic act of the great Tim-dini, and of course enjoy all of the other great things that happen here every day. August 3 – Pool Party - DJ Donald is back with his boomin’ speakers and mix master music. Dance the afternoon away, and be prepared to get in the water for pool games. Do not miss this prime summer weekend, there is lots of room in this giant pool. Put the little ones to bed, and come out and enjoy the adult dance in the evening. August 9 weekend – Come out and enjoy children entertainers Mark and Sarah. There will be face painting, balloon animals, and more. A family fun filled afternoon. August 16 weekend – Corn Boil – Hungry for corn? There will be tons of it here this weekend. The harvest is in full swing. Come shop local farmer’s markets and roadside stands for the freshest produce in the valley. August 23 weekend – Halloween – Bring your little ghosts and goblins to South Mountain for a spooktacular time. Decorate your site with spooky favorites, and take the kids out trick or treating. Do not miss our haunted wagon ride or Halloween dance. August 30 weekend – Labour Day – The last big weekend of summer, make sure it does not pass you by without a bang. There will be fireworks and an adult dance. Challenge fellow campers in the annual children and adult washer toss tournament.
